Which comes first – the chicken or the egg?

26 Jun
I felt an immediate & urgent desire to share this email I received a week ago & just opened up, right at the right time.

God bless us all

Here’s something that will make you feel good:

Subject: Recent miracle in Egypt!
                        Broadcasted in CBS…

A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8-year old daughter.

The girls were buried alive! He then reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand – ALIVE!

The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed at the end of July.

The older girl was asked how she had survived and she said, "A man wearing shiny white clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us… He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister". She was interviewed on Egyptian national TV, by a veiled Muslim woman news anchor. She said (on public TV), "This was none other than Jesus, because nobody else does things like this!"

Muslims believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it’s clear also that He is alive! But, it’s also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle.

Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time figuring out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn’t help! With Egypt at the centre of the media and education in the Middle East, you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still controlling and turning the world. Please let this story be shared…

The Lord says, ‘I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.    (Jeremiah 17)

Please forward this to all on your list and God will reward you abundantly…
SPREAD THE GOOD** NEWS…

Read this only if you have time for God.
Let me tell you, make sure you read it all the way to the bottom.
I almost deleted this email but I was blessed when I got to the end.

God, when I received this email, I thought, "I don’t have time for this… and this is really inappropriate during work".
Then I realized that this kind of thinking is exactly what has caused a lot of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning…
and maybe in Sunday’s night… and maybe in the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness…. and, of course, at funerals.
However, we don’t have time, or room, for Him during work or play…
Because that’s the part of our lives we think we can, and should, handle on our own.

May God forgive me for ever thinking this…
that there is a time or place where HE is not to be first my life.
We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us…
If you aren’t ashamed to do this, please follow the directions.

Jesus said, ‘If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.’

                                        Not ashamed?

Pass this on ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!!

                                    Yes, I do  God

The following is a reply I sent back to Remi, which I have slightly edited & modified along with the above message (which I couldn’t help myself in trying to grammatically correct)

Guten Morgen, Remi

I’m very happy you sent me something about God because I haven’t written much about him lately, and would just like you to know that I pray with 3 individual prayers combined, each & every day, and more often than not, I pray these prayers trifold in any given day. Have you ever noticed how both good & bad things come in three’s? If you’re feeling a trifle bit  & have been wondering what eez threez consist of, they’re The Lord’s Prayer, The Serenity Prayer & Li’l ë’s Prayers Of Thanks To God (for giving me much more than I could ever possibly need, want or wish for) & For Asking God To Support Me with having & maintaining Perserverance*, Faith, Hope, Charity, Forgiveness, Control (of myself, that is), Patience & (mainly) Trust… for without trust, there is nothing. Just think, the lilies in the field do not toil nor do they spin, and if God takes care of the meek & mild fowl, then he will take care of you. EVERY SINGLE DAY YOU PRAY – you TRUST IN THE LORD… just simply choose to TRUST.

It’s simple to make a choice when there’s only one choice to make, so don’t be a chicken…

On another …while we’re still in the déjeuner & clutch mode… when Messica & I were eating underboiled soft-cooked eggs right outta the shell early one morning, we decided to watch Passion of the Christ, and she put-near  out a bit of the snotty & runny eggie-weggie goo, haha!

Anyway, I gotta get offa my saggy old arss here & getta move-on before it turns into a block. It’s already getting brick-shaped, I noticed! This li’l Putzfrau’s gotta heavenuvva lotta cleaning & organizing to do here, for tomorrow’s sale, and most importantly, in order to KEEP ORDER in achieving a "clean house" all the way around.

I hope you have a better-than-good weekend, Remi & Stevie  and I’m wishing this for everyone else out there as well. Even DRIVE IN THE HAMMER if you’re into it or not ~ no pun intended  …so I’d better say ciao (finally) & for now! Muah  muah!

PS Check out the movie Life As A House with Kevin Kline

*Oopsy dupesy! Didja notice how Li’l ë misspelled PERSEVERANCE up there? Now there was a subliminal suggestion both in the werd & in the werks

**be good ~ all the little things you do will end up coming back to you (trifold)
